I remember them saying they've always wanted to do side stuff, but they've always been too busy with the main channel. Now that Billy is their editor, they have more time to work on that stuff.

They also have put new stuff on the main channel, but apparently fans didn't like it. Like how Matt's series "Why I Like the Thing" is now on his channel.
