Very first human encounter a guy decided to run for cover inside a wall by clipping through it.

My AI allies have on two separate occasions fired a shot at the person I was stealth killing. In one instance every enemy heard it, in the other they remained completely oblivious.

And my AI ally has also literally thrown a zombie directly at me when grappling with it. Multiple times in a row. Eventually it noticed me.

Also there's tons of weird lighting glitches all over the place. Apparently this is technically the fault of the PS4 Pro patch being really badly made, which is kind of worse since this should be the definitive way to play the game.

I'm trying to like this game but damn is it making it hard.

I also get the impression they never expected anybody to play Grounded on a first playthrough. There's a few important things I had to figure out on my own just by fiddling around with the controller, like using the flashlight and the melee attack (which has a cutscene-looking quicktime event tutorial with no on-screen prompt). I also still have no idea where all these candy bars I've been grabbing have been going, I just grab them and they disappear into the ether, nowhere in my inventory.

Can't say I had much issue if any that I recall when it comes to bugs and the PS3 version. No idea how it is on the PS4 on that front.

i am chill! ill agree that the game is really overrated but it's a good ass game imo.

I couldn't finish Last of Us due to a show stopping bug where a glitched out ladder kept me from progressing.

True, the story was also implausibly stupid. It would have been better if it took place right after the outbreak because it makes no sense that humanity would be able to survive and even form that super oppressed infrastructure they had going for that long.

Also there's no way Joel wouldn't have been infected 5 minutes after they broke out of the city. Most of the game is just spent climbing shit or defying all logic by stealthily taking down an infinite number of trackers and soldiers.

I generally think ND's games are some of the least buggy of any AAA developers outside of Nintendo's stuff. I played it on the PS3 though, no idea how the PS4 version fares.

I played on PS3 without issue, never really played on PS4 despite owning it there. Shame you are having problems.

I've just used the bow for the first time after thinking I should be saving it.

I can just... keep reusing the ammo? AND it's silent? AND it's a 1-hit-KO?

This makes the game ten times easier.

Oh and I should probably also mention I found a doorway at which enemies have a tendency to fall off the face of the earth. I can't complain too bad since it was hilarious, especially with Ellie being all "OH MAN THAT WAS TOO CLOSE"

I never had any problems. The AI would run out in the open sometimes but thankfully Naughty Dog programmed the enemies to pretend they don't exist. The AI also never started shooting at enemies unless you get seen. Maybe they saw you and you didn't realize? I believe you when you say your game is glitching but at the same time I never saw a glitch the 2 or 3 times I've played it/watched it played.
