Gonna make my body suffer as much as the rest of me, because if I'm busy killing myself through exercise I'm too busy for Depression to win!

I have a gym membership for 24 hour fitness, but I really don't know how to even go about setting up a good workout plan. Are there any particularly good apps for it, so I can efficiently start?

I also do a lot of walks, and have recently started running. Just got back from running about 1.6 miles, took about 20 minutes I think, going to work on getting more accurate distance and time when I go tomorrow night.

Also need to work on eating better, but I'm slowly improving that. Biggest issue is with getting enough at work, gotta stop getting snacks and bring food more consistently.

As far as your eating goes, your diet is gonna change depending on your goals. My brother is on a no carb fasting diet but he was overweight and has used that diet to lose it.

I'm already thin so I go for more carb overloads for energy before the gym to build muscle. I eat lean proteins, fruits, and vegetables otherwise.

Even tho his diet is technically healthier, I look better than him currently.

Yeah, I know. From what I was reading, for a beginner, if I can get it down to 15 that'll be about average, and I can go from there. I'm not making specific goals beyond that, because I want to start small.

r/fitness is also a great.
Find what your TDEE for calories. Eat more if you want to bulk. Eat less if you want to lose weight.
No/low carb diet is a ketogenic diet where your body starts to burn fat instead of carbs. The weight loss results are insane but the diet is extremely strict
Count macronutrients (carbs/proteins/fats). If you are lifting, try to make sure you get at least the equivalent of your weight in protein grams. i.e. 185lbs = 185 grams of protein
