That's, honestly, a really weird stereotype. Unless you are in Quebec, the majority of the country doesn't speak French. I didn't start learning French until I was 25, and that was just for fun. Where I grew up, there was no French programs or even French classes.

that's Haitian refugees/migrants crossing in through the US border.

this topic title is like if a Syrian walked/drove through europe to get to Scandinavia, and you called him a Greek refugee as he crosses into Albania, and then he's called an Albanina refugee as he crosses into Bosnia, and so on, untikl he's called a Danish refugee crossing into Sweden

TC did that purposefully, it would paint a different picture if he said Haitians were causing an immigration crisis in Quebec. It worked.

I live near four local reserves who have done a pretty decent job of developing business deals with retailers and service providers to generate revenue for the band. This isn't the case for a lot of rural ones, but some bands have really made big strides (hell look at what the n'k'mip band near osoyoos has done).

Not going to lie that there is a huge problem but some bands suffer from mismanagement, and others from neglect.

yea, and I bet Axiom lives near like places where the land is bad or something. It's different in different places. I was in Washington state, and the land the local natives had was not bad at all. And they owned a casino and everyone in the tribe gets profits from it. It might not be the most glamorous life, but it's better than the stuff I saw in BC and Yukon where they lived in wastelands. the Tulalip Tribe (one I lived by) has abundant salmon. they even have a salmon festival every year.

I'll admit, this clickbait works for people who only read the topic titles in a rush. I saw this a few times but I didn't even realize it was about Haitians until just now.
