I have always more liked the side characters in her story. Daario was a boss, Jorah was pretty good, and now she has Tyrion who has always been one of my favorites.

She has definitely become worse though. Especially this episode. You don't talk like that to Jon Snow. He has seen and been through more shit than she could even fathom.

i hope she dies giving birth to the child of jon snow

It's hard to root for her over other characters who have struggled more, and struggled more recently. Dany's 10-minute walk with the Dothraki last season didn't feel like much of a hardship. And this season it feels like all of the tension is really about whether or not she'll follow in her father's footsteps, while her allies are being tortured and slaughtered.

At this point, it would be more satisfying for her to go out as a martyr. If she sacrifices herself to save the world, then all is forgiven as far as I'm concerned. It just doesn't feel like any of her current adversaries have done her an injustice that's begging to be made right. Dany's been coasting ever since Season 2.

He was fine, just kinda disappointed that he was hyped up so much and then only had one fight, and that is the fight he died in.

Exactly.

-Book Spoilers-
Not only is he still alive in the books, but even if the first three words of the next book are "Barristan died lol", he still lived MUCH longer than in the show, and did a lot more.

It's a damn shame, really.

I've never liked her story in the show or the books. At least the books she has cool side characters to buoy her chapters even if they're kinda boring.
