Yup. She accepted a job offer last year, but is still waiting on bunch of stuff (contract related to her current position) before she can start her new position.

If you desperately can't wait then I'd end it, but I think sticking it out may be best, particularly if the LD aspect of it will be ending soon(ish)

Another thing to note is that there is risk in your friend.

There are a couple real possibilities, even if you're discrete. Maybe she gets into an argument with her bf and mentions you to try to hurt him. Maybe she develops some feelings and tries to get you to break up with your girlfriend. Or maybe you both get away with it.

But people are unpredictable once sex gets involved.

We expected her to move after six months of her accepting her new position. But that grew to 14 months now, because of her current position's contract... No idea how much more it'll be pushed (and thankfully, the new employer is still keeping the position open for her).
