I know high price doesn't always equal quality and vice versa, but I'd be afraid of the failure rate on something that big being that cheap.

I bought one around Black Friday for just a little more than that. I don't regret it.

picked one up at my local Best Buy for $179 after tax. it is indeed a WD Red - mine is a WD80EFAX, so 8TB with a 256MB cache. it runs at 5400 RPM, but this is for bulk storage rather than speed, so that's fine
if you need a hard drive upgrade, i suggest jumping on this ... Copied to Clipboard!
