That's a big part of it for me. Imagine if you had a job at Five Guys and there was this one person who always had the same shift as you and always told the same goddamn innuendo joke every damn morning when you saw him. And then whenever someone you met found out you worked at Five Guys they'd tell the same kind of joke.
First time might be great, but even the third variation is tiring. I'm Asian and it's literally nothing but dog-eating, math, or honour jokes for years and years when people tell racial jokes and I'm supposed to laugh or they'll be offended because they think I'm offended.

LOL! I used to be one of those Five Guys jokesters when I first heard of it, lol. when I heard somebody else do it, I knew it was time to let the dead horse lay, lol.

self awareness isn't always fun, but it's necessary.
