Which car brand is better? I liked driving a Honda but Subaru cars look really cool. Which car should I get in the future?

Subaru by far

I have an Impreza and it's great. Handling is a lot better, the interior is much nicer IMO (the Civic I test drove looked like a budget spaceship), exterior styling is nicer, resale value holds a little better, cabin is roomy and comfortable for a compact car, etc.

however I'd say the real big selling point for a Subaru is the AWD. if you live in an area that gets snow, it is a complete game changer. it's not going to make your car impervious to bad weather but it is so much better driving in snow with AWD and it's hard for me to go back to an FWD car after this one. I'd drive right past people trying to push their cars out of snow and shovel out the tires.

my Impreza gets the best of both worlds, because the AWD gives it amazing handling, but then the CVT keeps it smooth driving and very fuel efficient. cant recommend my subie enough

Edit: and if you are going for performance, I'd still take the WRX over the SI

Edit 2: aw shit, i didnt know they started making a Civic Hatchback, that looks nice

Get the Civic Type R. At least it'll be unique. WRXs/STIs are a dime a dozen and have been using the same motor for the last 10 years.

I'm not a fan of how the Type R looks, but I respect its performance for a FWD vehicle. I equally don't care for the fast and furious looks of the EVO/STI but again, I respect their performance.

2018 accord will have the type r engine as a option but making about 25hp less.

Wrx uses the fa20 engine which uses direct injection and a twin-scroll turbo.

Sti still uses the ej257. However, the complaints people have is that its an old, not fuel efficient and 300hp isn't enough anymore. However, its performance is still similar to the focus rs and manual golf r with 350hp and 299hp respectively.

Well, Honda literally makes crap aside from the Civic, and I DO live in the Rockies, so the Subaru is wonderful out here. They make them with flat bottoms so they just slide right over snow banks.
