It used to be the biggest, but I think the family that owns it (and other malls) made the Mall of America bigger. Plus there's probably bigger malls in Asia and Dubai by now. It still rocks though. It's got a decent amount of stores, but it's also got a waterpark, amusement park, an NHL regulation size/quality skating rink. Lots of other little things for entertainment too. Mini golf, arcades, and probably more I'm forgetting. And yeah, you just need to apply for a passport if you don't already have one. Then you can fly or drive over here whenever you feel like it. You're allowed to stay for six months I believe, although of course you would only need a week to really experience everything there like you said. Maybe not even. The amusement park isn't massive, and you could easily do it, the water park, and exhaust at least two of the mall's four 'phases' in a day.
