With advancement of technology, collective effort and years of research we finally are capable of creating life. Say this new lifeform, wheter it is AI, genetically modified being, machine, or combination of all.

It is just perfect in every way possible. Smarter, faster, stronger, kinder, more compassionate.

Does that make us better gods than god? If our creation make even a better being than themselves, does the cycle repeat?

I want to heard people's opinion. Of course, depending on your worldview and beliefs, there will lots of different answer, like humans are created flawed by intention if you believe gods are testing us/giving us free will, etc.

No prejudice, no judging, keep it open minded and dont insult beliefs abd shitpost, because discussion is fun, better than pondering alone only if it is civil and open.

that's one way to see it. what is the creator's intent though? are human the best god can do? or we are created to be flawed intentionally? if so what is the purpose for creating such flawed being? experiment? wants us to experience all facets of existence? entertainment? some sick joke?

of course, if i were to answer that truthfully from what i believe, life is flawed becasue there is no intelligent design. just chance that we reach this point in existence and evolved this way.

but from the discussion's standpoint it probably belong to those question nobody can answer for sure.

Excuse the cliché, but I don't think it'd be possible to create the perfect human. After all, it's our imperfections that make us human.

Plus, I don't think we could create something that is kinder or more compassionate without taking away their free will.

To answer that question, we'd need to ask the question "Why would we want to create life?"

Maybe we did it just because we can, to test the extent of our "power" or knowledge or science.

Maybe that's the same reason our creator made us, purely because he/she/they could.

Maybe it's a never-ending cycle of beings creating beings and then being replaced by them when their creations create creations.
