they just seem perpetually angry and spiteful. seems to be a parallel.

this goes for people on the right as well that seem to hate black/mexican/gay people. economic issues are by far the most important in america at the moment...people that have political opinions based on identity politics instead are just generally vile

It's because they grew up being told that they're special and that they'll change the world, and then life hit them full force and they realized they weren't any more special than anyone else. So instead of working hard and trying to produce value in society so that they can make a real difference, they made up all kinds of bullshit "issues" in order to "combat" those issues. It's basically a product of deep arrogance and pride, coupled with sociopathy and hatred in general.
