I got into an awkward, albeit interesting discussion with my co-workers when they asked me if I believed in that kind of stuff and they said no. To my surprise, they were all pretty shocked at first, but we were able to have a reasonable conversation.

Do you guys believe in stuff like that?

I do.

I believe they're so far-fetched that the spirits themselves KNOW this. They will show themselves to children who do not know anything strange is going on. Then when your kid says something crazy, you chalk it up to a kid being a kid.

I've met avid ghost believers and people that can give a scientific explanation to ghosts.Both are convincing. I've never had an experience so I don't know which way to lean. Probably the more "they don't exist" route. Seems a tad implausible.

As for demons, the idea of them has been too prominent in societies in history to be simply made up. "Demons" stalking the dreams of people, possessions around the world even today where whichcraft is still practiced, and a very accurate description by almost everyone that has apparently experienced them. I think these guys are very real.

I do without a doubt.
It's all stuff that's easily laughed at and dismissed as stupidity by so many but I believe if in this sort of stuff and I'm not ashamed to admit that. It all goes hand in hand with a belief in the afterlife. A heaven and hell. Angels, sixth senses/spiritual connections, another plane, etc.

And yeah, as someone said above me. Just from a few personal experiences alone. There's no way it's dismissable to me.

I'm a bit indifferent on the subject. My mom swears up and down that she saw the ghost of my grandpa shortly after he died. She also reported knocking and other various noises throughout our old house. I can't say that I ever noticed this while I lived with her. Most noises I heard seemed to be due to the house settling at night.

There was one instance at my current apartment that freaked me out. I was coming down the stairs one night because my wife was tossing and turning and I wanted to sleep on the couch. I got to the bottom of the stairs and jumped back because I thought I saw a silhouette of someone standing there. This was shortly after my grandma had died so it could have been in my mind since I was still grieving. It was also the middle of the night and your vision typically isn't clear when you're more than half asleep.

Not really ghosts in the traditional sense that they are the deceased, but I believe in God, and there are more instances of "Holy Ghost" than "Holy Spirit" in the Bible.
