Philoktetes 07/18/17 2:35:38 AM #1:	our government has lied to us so much. Russia is a beautiful country. Life is great there. Their healthcare system is better than ours. They don't hate us. Russians love Americans. They listen to our music (from everything from pop, to jazz, to rap, etc.), they speak our language very well, they learn our alphabet from a young age, they eat our foods, they embrace our culture. They have no problems with our government or our economy. Our government has been trying to make Americans scared of Russia for the last few decades, and here's why: wealth redistribution. When the Soviet Union formed, they actually did it. The 99% successfully overthrew the 1%. They literally just rose up, pried the billions and frivolous wealth from their hands, and paid everyone fair, living wages. And that scared the ever-living shit out of the 1%, corporations, and deep state that control our country. So they did everything they could to make Russia our enemy. Propaganda. The red "scare". Etc. They did the same thing too once Martin Luther King achieved social equality, then announced he was going to focus his efforts on economic equality. Even in touristy places like the red square, most of them can barely string together a sentence in English. Try leaving Moscow and you have to get by with pointing and waving most of the time. My impression was that they are very proud of their cultural heritage, even if the younger generation also want the democracy and free speach they see in western culture.
