Ranticoot 07/20/17 5:45:12 PM #7:	They're one of my favorite bands ever. All their albums are great. Symbolic is the pinnacle in my opinion, and is the one closest in style to TSOP. The closest album Chuck was involved with to TSOP is Control Denied's only album, The Fragile Art of Existence. TSOP really only exists because the label insisted Chuck release a Death album before releasing the Control Denied debut. But really, listen to all of them. This band is fantastic and they only have seven albums (eight if you include the Control Denied record). Generally the farther and farther back you go the less progressive you get. If you did the technical and progressive songwriting, go in reverse chronological order; Death went from straight up 80s death metal to progressive in a very organic fashion from album to album. Also check out Control Denied, a side project that Chuck did.
