So I get to the theater and we take our seats.

Now first thing that happens is some god damned guy sits right next to me. It's like really bro? You have all that empty space and you decide to sit next to me?

Minor annoyance, but I'm not some mouth-breathing antisocial troglodyte, and the guy isn't fat or loud or anything, so whatevs.

Then intermittently through the first act I see a god damned laser dot on the screen.

First off, it's 2017, who the fuck has a laser pointer anymore?

Secondly, what are you getting out of this shit, bro?

Eventually a guy from behind me went down to the person with pointer and told them to knock it off. Seemed to work, so good on ya bro.

Then towards the second act of the film, this toddler or whatever near the front row starts whining and crying. Loudly.

The parents apparently elected to ignore it.

Eventually one friend of mine went to talk to the manager, as did a few other people.

Then they came back. And it was even louder this time. I can give parents the benefit of the doubt, but what the fucking fuck.

Also I missed some of the third act because it felt like my fucking bladder was going to explode.

In the end, no employees did anything about the toddler, so a bunch of people (myself and friends included) got comp tickets.

As we left the theater, an ambulance pulled up and a bunch of paramedics rushed into the building.


Anyway, movie was alright 8/10, solid conclusion to a good trilogy.

I wonder why there were no young gorillas or orangutans. All the young apes were chimps. Actually there might have been a young gorilla, but yeah not enough to explain the community that exists in the original movies.

That's what I thought too, was expecting a lot more from it a film with the words 'war for the' in the title I was expecting a war not a 5 minute battle at the start then an escape from a prisoner camp.
I want to like it because I thought the first two were great but this one just felt a bit flat.
