I need to go back to a diet where I can eat the foods I like to an extent, but just restrict portions and calories. Thinking about doing a 23-1 fast where I eat one big meal a day.

I would recommend counting calories and spending more time moving around each day.

Why is it not working for you? The only reason it shouldn't is bad self-control. If you're seriously overweight, low-carb/keto is the best way for you to lose weight.
