Alright, so the previous topic was lost, and all the rules are gone. General information: every generation of Pokemon starts with the first ten in the Pokedex. Five advance. Then a new five face those five, and so on and so forth. This goes until we reach the end of a generation, at which point each round becomes single elimination until we determine a generation winner. At the moment, Jolteon, Feraligatr, and Flygon have won generations and will be involved in the grand finals alongside the winners of Gen IV, V, VI, VII, and the three Pokemon with the longest winning streaks to give us a final ten.

In the event of a tiebreaker, I'll hold a one-off topic to break said tie. Those rounds (same as these poll topics) last 24 hours to determine winners and whatnot. For purposes of this contest, no alts and no rallying.

Just a little topic series I was thinking of running to see just how long I'm willing to put up with it. The premise is simple: every day, ten Pokemon will be up for voting, you vote for your favorite. The top FIVE advance to the next day, where they'll face five new Pokemon. And then we see what can last the longest. Like I said, I'll probably get bored at some point, but until then, let's see if we can get through Gen IV at least, shall we?

Also, when we reach the final days of the countdown, the contest will become a single-elimination series, with each round trimming the field one-by-one until we crown a single winner from Gen III. Jolteon is our Gen I champion, Feraligatr is our Gen II champion, Flygon is our Gen III champion, and they will face off against seven other champions in the grand finals.
