I had like 6k songs on my computer and it lasted for like 12 years. And that was during prime porn watching years so that computer was abused and not maintained at all.

I think I was like the only person ever to not get any viruses or malware from Limewire. I never had a problem with it.

I don't think I ever did, and I used them a lot. Just don't click on .exe files and you were usually good.

It was also a crapshoot as to what kind of vid you were actually downloading >_>. There were some pretty fucked up vids that were hidden behind "innocent" sounding titles

I developed a seething hatred for BearShare because it would always infect my family's PC. Even after I removed it, my sister or brother would just download it again. And back then, that was the only internet-accessible computer we had.
