going to be pushing 104 here today in NC (with some crazy humidity)
I actually thrive pretty well in it though. Going to hit the mountain biking trails this evenening around 7 for a run. I dunno, I don't pay any attention.
If it's hot, I get hot. If it rains, I get wet. Who cares. If it's anything to actually worry about, I get an email from.work about it. 105 is p rough but manageable as long as you're no doing outdoor labor. You can even hang out outside in it as long as you sunscreen, wear light clothes amd drink plenty of water. I went through 114 heat index in '07, and that sucked but I mean you manage when you have to. We even had marching rehersal that day. One kid had to go to the hospital, but he was wearing solid black and drinking coke instead of water. Avoid it if you can, ofc. --- ... Copied to Clipboard!
