Heh. I worked at a dealership, there's a total underground market for high value license plates, it's odd. They like the number 8 I think. 8 ball, 888, etc.

Yeah 8 signifies happiness for the Chinese. I don't think 9 has any particular significance.

9 is a lucky number because odd numbers are yin and even numbers are yang, and 9 is the "most yin"
