Two things..

1) There's no way in HELL you think you're getting away with such emails if you're a Donald J. Trump and your dad is running for the most public office on Earth and all mud is raked up eventually. Like, no way in hell. You would have to be under the age of 10 or mentally incapable of analytical thinking.

2) I just don't...I don't see the end-game to all this. It's a 4-year term. You really think you just quietly sit down in the White House for 1200 days and just kinda go "lalala" while the Press releases a new story about Russia every 5 days. Like...maybe June 2016 this kid thought the entire thing would be hush-hush...but since about February this has been a daily news story - and especially since Comey.

Surely if you're Donald Trump Jr. you have basically not slept in the past 4 months from anxiety that this exact situation would arise.

Like, someone please explain to me how an adult could do something so openly fucking stupid and think they would get away with it for 4+ years.

Oh and 3) That was it? Was it really this easy to find the smoking gun and get the President impeached?

actually to be fucking honest, after Anthony Weiner getting caught for like a 5th time sending women his fucking dick, I guess I can pretty much believe anything in terms of how FUCKING STUPID grown, college educated men are.

And I say that as a grown man. You'd have to really, genuinely think you are beyond "consequence" to think you could email this kind of shit while your dad runs for President.

You'd have to spent 45 years being told "yes" every single day of your life, to the point where you don't know what mistakes or lack of foresight or consequence to your actions is to send emails like this,.

Trump has basically lived without any consequences for his actions for his entire life. Hell he even got multiple million dollar loans from his father to get him started. There's never been a need for Trump and his family to think about anything, because they've had everything handed to them.

It's not really surprising that him and his family didn't think this very through.

I don't get people in power. They do dumb illegal shit because either they think they can cover it up or get away with it. Trump ran on "Fake News" so he absolutely thought he could control the media once in office. Problem no one can control the power of journalism. You can contain it sure, but sooner or later someone will talk, someone will dig something up, and someone will prove fault. It has literally always been this way in politics and no one can change it. Yet every single politician tries.
