Memtest. Install it on a USB drive, then run it on boot up. It takes like an hour.

Also, your computer checks RAM for errors every time you cold boot. Just not nearly as deeply.

Yes, that's somewhat what I meant by thinking - I don't have any bootable devices here.

Windows 7 and up has Windows Memory Diagnostics. Probably nowhere near as good as Memtest but it'll do.
