There seems to to be some damage to the disc immediately around the center hole where the games held like it may be slightly warped thus causing the noise. Ive played it for about an hour and it plays fine despite noise. Will this have any negative effect if i continue to play?

Mine makes a lot of noise playing gamecube games, kind of like loud clicking sounds.
