"Now I want you to go in there and show my daughter a good time, but not too good."

But yeah

- Tom Holland is a brilliant Spider-Man and a great Peter Parker.
- Vulture was great
- Iron Man was in it an appropriate amount. Didn't take away from things or steal the show like I worried he would
- Aunt May is fucking juicy
- The movie was really down-to-Earth, fairly low-stakes, which for this kind of Spidey is perfect.
- The twist was handled very well. I legitimately didn't see it coming.
- Vulture being able to piece together that Peter was Spider-Man by clues/context was brilliant and addressed my oft-repeated complaint in the series
- Call out to one of my favorite Spider-Man stories (http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-B7mwmpwqzMk/T-SM7tDTI5I/AAAAAAAAIHo/LBLteBaqA8g/s1600/08.jpg)
- The underarm webbing finally shows up in film
- Dat Iron Spider outfit

See they're still trying to push The Sinister Six though *sigh*

Sinister Six will be fantastic if they have good villains like the vulture

My favorite thing hands down is that May finally knows. It took 3 film series and 6 movies, but May finally knows. I wish they had started this sooner so he was a little older before she knew, but this is fine since she needs to know before Infinity Wars otherwise Spider-Man won't have an emotional arc during it.

It was very good. I fucking loved that we didn't have to sit through an origin story. I can't stand origin stories anymore. You have to go through those with every new superhero now.

I always assumed aunt may knew in the Raime films, she always seemed to give speeches about spider-man when Peter needed to hear it the most, like when he gave up being spider-man and she invited the neighborhood spider-man fan over and had him tell Peter how much he believed in his hero. Several other scenes kind of hinted that she knew more than she let on. At least I thought so.

I loved how it was still very much a "learning to be a hero" origin story without the actual origin.
