I matched an overweight girl okcupid a long time ago. She had a really pretty face, and carried the weight well, so messaged her. I got no response, except it would tell me who had visited my page each day, and for like 3 weeks straight she'd visit my profile 2-3 times a day(unless the notifications were glitched). Then I tried tinder just to see if I could manage to get any matches. Saw her on there, and we matched again, I once again messaged her, told her we matched on okcupud too and that we should get to know each other. No response from her then either. After a week, I sent her a message wishing her well, then unmatched her.

I kind of thought that maybe someone of her weight would be willing to give me a chance, but she wasn't. I don't know why she liked me on tinder if she wasn't interested.

Attention honestly. Since obesity and overweight has become the new norm, women with self esteem issues concerning their weight have dwindled down so much, that you can't realistically expect fat people to have a realistic perception of their attractiveness (sound so Redpilly, but w/e).

That isn't what I said at all. The fat is ok movement encourages people to remain fat and not worry about their weight. This is terrible for a number of reasons ranging from health to social norms.

People can feel good about themselves and still be fat, but they shouldn't think being overweight is an acceptable thing.

It's simply not both socially and for health reasons.
