RE4 just makes you stop to shoot, but you can aim more than up, down, straight to shoot. Still considered tank controls because of the movement and no way to actually turn the camera more than 45 degrees in one direction based on how Leon is facing. --- The first principle is that you must not fool yourself --- and you are the easiest person to fool. ... After playing modern RE like Revelations 1 and 2, 6, and 7 I absolutely cannot go back to playing 4 at all. I need to be able to move and shoot at the same time. It was amazing for it's time but it's one of those games that absolutely shows it's age despite being remade like 10 times.

It is still one of my favorite games even with the tank controls. I also happen to like the inventory system and having to rearrange things.
