No...it's actually the reverse (not talking about good taste).

Guardians 2 got decent ratings so everyone thought it sucked and skipped it. Logan got stellar ratings (which I personally think is overblown tbh) which made people think it was the perfect movie.

It was good, but only x-23 was great. The rest of the cast was just okay.

I wouldn't actually compare the 2. Logan didn't exactly feel like a "Super hero movie" it felt more like an actual movie that just happened to have super hero themes. It showed us what super powers & such would actually be like IRL, were as MCU movies show use what a comic book would look like as a live action movie.

Logan kind of reminded me of "Kick Ass" but without the comedy. It had that same feel of "what if super heroes actually existed".

I feel like the MCU has finally become stale. But Logan wasn't mind blowing for me either. It's silly how adding in a little bit of gore made people act like its the best thing ever lol. It's a good movie but it didn't really do anything special or unique.

Speaking as someone who likes DoFP, I don't get how you can utter that name in the same sentence as Logan and Deadpool. Two of those are movies that the cast and crew were passionate about and it shows. The other was yet again a half assed adaptation with characters' actions and importance based on actor popularity instead of what makes sense for the character in that screwed up continuity they've got going.

Yeah Wonder Woman was just fine. Had some stuff I liked, some stuff I didn't. I didn't find any of the comedy funny, didn't like the slow down action and the overall story was bare bones. It was still easily the best DC movie yet. Guardians was pretty darn good with a cool Ego plot and some great moments like Yondu's escape. And Yondu alone was just full of great stuff. Some of the jokes didn't land, specifically early on "legendary turds", but by the end far more hit than missed. Very fun movie.

Speaking as someone who likes DoFP, I don't get how you can utter that name in the same sentence as Logan and Deadpool. I mean it is not a great movie by any means, but I actually gave a shit about what happened storyline wise more so than I have for any MCU movie. At best, it was an...eh...ok adaptation of the story.

I liked the God angle but there were waaay too many forced jokes and most of them weren't even funny. SMH was way funnier for sure, but the jokes won't work on a second viewing.

Rogue One was shit tier...

Disney is going down the toilet now man. Way too much propaganda is being forced into these films with things like ROgue One and Homecoming. it will only get worse.

Maybe I need to re-watch it, but I felt Ep 7 was better than RO.

It was just a boring film, with an uninteresting main cast. All the main characters were a bore. I cared not a single bit when they all died at the end.

The best part of it was entirely the Empire, and Darth Vader. Vader had the highlight scene at the end, as did CGI Princess and Tarkin, but especially Tarkin. He was great. The war scenes with the big Mechs were fine, but the rest of the film was lackluster. They even somehow managed to give Donnie Yen boring fight scenes.

Rogue One was just a big mess. Should have just made it a Darth Vader movie with his own major adventure after he turned to the dark side. Maybe a search for his children before he buried that attachment?

I wouldn't go that far but Logan is the best example as to why it's sometimes a good thing that Marvel/Disney doesn't have the rights to everything. They'd never make a movie like this.

He struck me as more of just a literal weapon, the same as any other bad guy has a gun, they had "a clone logan."
It served to highlight their inhumanity and callousness, that they did this weird cloning thing and then treated him as a mere attack dog used to hunt his "father" and the last of the mutants.

I loved Guardians of the Galaxy 1. That's possibly my favorite MCU film. I loathed the sequel. I should've put GotG2 instead of GotG.

In case you try to say I'm changing it, look at my description of GotG right below where I say it's shit-tier. "God-angle". There was no god angle in the first one but there was in the 2nd one. Like I said, for that movie, it's like the writers tried turning the jokes up to a million, and it just didn't work for me like it did in the first one. most of the jokes weren't funny. That extended Groot scene at the very beginning when they're fighting that giant monster was probably meant to be funny, but I didn't even smirk once at all. Rocket was more annoying than a character you could sympathize with like in the first one. He was having outburstsfor seemingly no reason at all. The Gammora and blue girl scenes were almost as bad as the Martha scene from BvS. The blue girl literally tried blowing Gammora up with a machine gun, and then literally tried ramming into her with a fucking spaceship at full speed. And then Gamorra literally tried to murder her with one ofthe space ship's machine guns. And then they're BFFs five minutes later. Fuck that shit. That was BvS levels of cringe. "I wanted a SISTER!!!!!!!".... really? Is that why you tried to brutally murder her?. Fucking shit man. Just because I liked the first movie and felt it was great, doesn't mean I'm going to accept bullshit from the sequel.

Wonder Woman rekt GotG2 imo and will likely have a longer shelf-life than SM Homecoming too.

WW still made 9m this week despite Spiderman.

Personally I thought Rogue One's ending was quite moving. I never realised how much actually went into getting the Death star plans & I thought all the characters had great personality, especially K-2SO, I might even like him more then C-3P0.

I can understand @Kamiccolohan not thinking its the best movie ever, but calling it "Shit Tier" is a bit of a stretch.
