DW is a hack n slash

... but yeah Final Fight is better than Streets of Rage.

The only point of contention I have is that they don't actually make Beat-em-ups. When's the last fucking time a Final Fight game came out?

But then Capcom has a lot of other awesome beat-em-ups. The Punisher, AvP, both D&D titles, etc.

Yes Streets of Rage is better than the original FF but FF3 >>>>>>>> SoR1, 2 and 3.

FF3 is great, but I still have to go with SoR 2.

I wished all those arcade beat em up came to console. Shout out to Konami for Simpsons, Ninja Turtles and X-Men beat em ups but still can't compurr to the giant that is Capcom. Nothing can.

No actually, NG and DMC are actually closer to Beat em Ups than they are to hack-n-slash.

Beat-em-ups = fewer enemies, each enemy takes more hits to defeat
Hack-n-slash = lots of enemies, most die in a few basic attacks

Beat-em-ups = Streets of Rage, Golden Axe, Final Fight, Devil May Cry, Bayonetta, Ninja Gaiden, Castle Crashers
Hack-n-slash = Musou anything, Gauntlet, Sacred 3, Dungeons & Dragons Heroes, Diablo, Torchlight, Hammerwatch
