Current Events > Anyone take showers in the gym? If so do you go in and out of the shower naked?

Recently went to a gym's bathroom/shower area/lock room area. Seen a couple dudes naked. Just curious if this is common or not and I need to know what I should do if I want to take a shower and not get aids or other diseases like those nasty ass skin diseases I hear about. I'd need a waterproof sandals instead of going bare feet. What other good tips you guys would recommend??

This is kind of a tangent, but it's a fantasy of mine to like rent out a gym or spa and have a day where I get to shower naked with like 20 sexy women

I wear shower sandals and wrap in a towel before and after. You gotta be at least 60 to do more purposeful naked locker room strutting than that.

I step into the shower wearing a towel, close the curtain, hang the towel outside, then when I'm done, pull the towel back in and dry off inside the shower stall and wrap the towel back on before getting out.

there is no avoiding being naked for at least a few seconds in the locker room though. Once you do it for a few days in a row you just don't really care, especially once you see how other people just flagrantly walk around with floppy dicks everywhere.

I don't think you've got to worry too much about that in a gym.

Regular Staph, sure, but the syringes in a gym bathroom ain't methicillin.

I don't go around the locker room naked even when I shower.

I used to work out at a gym with a friend years ago and would walk around naked to the shower and sauna while he would always wear sandals and put towels down to sit on and while I never had any ill effects while he got athletes foot twice.

Learning to be comfortable in your own skin can help you to get over plenty of other insecurities.
