Fight Club they delude themselves that a normal life with a normal job with1st world problems is a horrible life and they must destroy it to make things better.

V for Vendetta the government is literally a corrupt dictatorship government that oppresses people with literally death and rape so the hero tries to free people from this.

Basically one movie make believes there's oppression while the other one literally has real oppression so one is fake and the other is real. Why people keep calling V an edgelord only God knows why.

That is largely the attitude this movie is obviously critiquing, especially once the more villainous aspects of Project Mayhem, and it's blatantly dehumanizing method of recruitment and indoctrination a moment's focus. they're explicitly trying to 'destroy history,' because they feel small in it's shadow. It's all there.

My beef with V for Vendetta SPOILERS

With all his powers, strength, confidence, ideals, philosophy and conviction, he still becomes the most beta cuck powerless bitch at the hands of a woman. Same can be said about Doctor Manhattan from Watchmen. Alan Moore is a bitch at the core.
