If it doesn't sell well they won't remake Spyro either, so I sure hope it does good.

It's amazing. I have no problems. Controls are slightly better than the original. I use the directional buttons to play. Much better in my opinion.

I agree with this. I haven't played 2 and 3 yet, but I haven't had any problems with the controls for 1 (which is really the only one that gets complained about). The game is just hard as hell, especially if you're going for the plat. I will say that I think they shortened Crash's jump distance slightly because there are now numerous jumps in later levels that require you to be at the very edge of what you're standing on to make your jump.

No you just have to hold x. The longer you hold x when you jump the farther he goes. I don't think they shortened it.

That's what I've been doing, but I still need to be at the very edge of platforms to make some jumps. I could just be remembering wrong, but I feel like there's slightly less room for error when making certain jumps in levels like the The Lab.
