Make something super easy. Get orzo pasta, some grape tomatoes, parsley, onions, zucchini, and ground turkey or pork and cook that. Shouldn't take you more that 15-20 minutes to cook and it tasted great and is filling. You can swap in some seared chicken breast of you do not want to use ground meat.

MT seems like a picky eater tbh. When I made pasta last time he picked out like half the stuff.

I make some banging ass pasta too. I did some mushrooms, sundried tomatoes, broccoli, garlic, chicken and meatballs with an Alfredo sauce and topped with some feta cheese crumbles.

I think what Near doesn't get is I'm a lot more willing to eat stuff if I'm not actually paying for it. Mainly because I'd much rather NOT waste food.

So gorillaz was dope. They had Danny brown open and he was doing some of his solo work from atrocity exhibition. Gorillaz came on like 20min after and dove right into their new album. They brought out most of the featured artists and played their songs. Vince staples, pusha T, dude on sex murder party and the guy on strobelite. Busted and Blue and we got the power sounded waaay better in person to me.

They played some of their older tracks as well. Clint Eastwood, kids with guns, 19-2000, DARE and some more. There was no feel good inc though.... :(

All in all, i definitely enjoyed it.

But yeah, I don't like Tex Mex or most breakfast foods but I tolerate it if it's given to me. Definitely not saying I'll eat anything, but the main point there is I just don't want to buy anything if I know I'm not really going to enjoy it.

No it wasn't the price tags were why the others followed me in. I think it was like 7 or 8 bucks at most for mine before the tip. Can't remember the exact price anymore. I just know I remember looking at the menu prices and comparing being like... welp, I know where I'm going.



Not that I'm in anyway denying I don't tend to stick to the same foods. Just I would have totally been willing to try it if it had been cheaper. I don't like gambling on food I have to pay for, especially when I was already cutting it close going to D.C. in the first place. Boy I'm glad our plane was delayed and I got dinner out of it, lol.

If you ever want to make a creamy pasta dish without using heavy cream, milk, or cheese all you have to do is cook the pasta like you would risotto.

Yeah, I barely eat out in the first place because I hate the price tag so I barely want to risk the cash on something I didn't like. Hell, when I do like it I end up regretting it half the time anyways. Like when we went to that place where everything looked good and I had no idea what I wanted, lol.


Though I did try new stuff at the Speakeasy (which we totally have to go to when you're back in South Florida) that ended up tasting good... but way too expensive.

Yeah, it's a gamble, really. I usually enjoy it though. The very fact of trying something new is enough for me to get it. I usually end up liking it too, so there's no problem. Never had any problems with Keke's (which is where we went) but then again, I've never ordered their burger since I always get breakfast stuff there.

But I'm totally down to go to any speakeasy. Though I've never been to one with a reasonable price tag.

Not denying that one. I don't skimp on important stuff since you'll just end up paying for it later anyway but I certainly am not wasting cash when I can help it. And going out to eat is, well, wasteful most of the time.

I started looking at apartments. I definitely need to get a raise before I decide to move out. I can do a 2 bedroom in the Bronx much closer to the city with a roommate and just barely have enough left over for myself. Two of my friends want to move into the city but that is looking almost impossible for me right now.
