Not looking forward to this. She's nice. She's like one of the family, but I haven't seen her since.... well.... well over 10 years now. Maybe more.

She knows I came out and I guess she told my mother she's taking me out to get my hair, makeup, nails....etc done. I'm not girlish like that. I like makeup, but I can't say this isn't awkward. Especially since she's too early for me to seek out doing my hair.

To top it off, an aunt i haven't seen in years too is coming up as well. And many other family members for the cookout. Just wtf.

If only. I hope her daughter won't be with her. I went to kindergarten with her. She's a cop now. It would be strange seeing her after all these years too.

I'll ask her if she will take you instead. I don't think there will be much luck there though.

I've never had them done....ever. To be fair, I try to think logically about things like that and I feel that having my nails done would hinder anything I need to do, or would break just as yours did when you got home.

I mean, the novelty is probably great, but would it really be worth it? Typing would be hard. Various menial tasks would be too. I just don't think it is something for me. The thing is, she's always been more "girly" whereas my mother never was. I know she tried getting my mother to go out and do this stuff but never succeeded.

I know I would have been if I grew up around it. My mother was never girly. My family is seriously all brothers, boy cousins and uncles. It sucks. I always yearned doing that stuff as a child but now that I am an adult, I missed out on everything. I hardly even know how to do anything now. It's all luck and it all goes downhill because I can't even do makeup right half the time.

I was 100% serious. :/

Though it's probably more a tomboyish girliness if I really get into it. Makeup and jewelry for example aren't my thing and I love gaming (which is stereotypically masculine).

And I have the mouth of a sailor, though it depends on context.

I love nature.

Same tbh. I did enjoy my walks around my college campus when it was comfy outside.

Though I prefer experiencing it from the comfort of the indoors. :P
