Look at me for example.... I'm 100% Asian/Vietnamese and I was born and raised in the US, BUT I'm not 'Asian" enough to be Asian and I'm not "patriotic" enough to be an American.

So what should I be and what should I call myself?

You're a human being, your identity is the person you choose to be via your beliefs and actions, that's it. I'm a minority as well but such labels never carried any significance for me. I'm me, the rest of the world can choose to put labels on me and somehow deem it important, but I know who I am, my identity transcends the color of my skin or the culture o was brought up in.
