a strong acid would be balanced by a strong base like bleach no negate the effects, but nobody walks around with bleach though.


you would not want to pour bleach on your skin. when people talk about neutralizing an acid with a base, or vice/versa, it's usually an extremely weak substance that does the neutralizing. Milk is a very weak base, and vinegar or lemon juice for acid in the event that you need to neutralize a base.

Yes. Bleach added to acid causes chlorine gas production and heat. It is actually used to sterilize plants seeds.

The vast majority of reported acid attacks occur in either Pakistan or India, so either is likely to be true.
