I met some guy who had a pet wolf once. He was a former trucker who then worked for a pet store. Once in a while he brought the wolf to the store. He acted just like a domestic dog, it was awesome.

You could breed the ones that are less hostile against humans, for several generations, selecting them purely on behavior. Eventually, dog-like physical traits appear as well.

The article stated that dogs aren't the same species as wolves but last I checked dogs are a subspecies of wolves. From what I understood, dogs are just domesticated and extremely diverse wolves. But maybe it's just semantics.

Wolf Dogs are awesome but illegal in a shit ton of cities and places. Plus they are hard to train, and even harder to get the regular shots due to their mixed species.
Personally, I'd rather just get a pure bred German Shepherd or Mal and be happy with a dog that is hella smart and obedient. --- It's far better to be alive than to be dead ... Copied to Clipboard!
