In this post, I am mainly talking about mental disorders. But culture can also affect, and shape how a person sees life, and what traits he/she has. And here we go.

Being exposed to a religious belief system where heaven, hell, demons, and angels is dominant, can also affect your delusions, and possibly make you mentally ill to the point of schizophrenia.

People in the east tend to have different delusions than the ones in the west. Like in Japan, a schizophrenic patient may mention about honor, dishonor in his/her delusions. While the west tends to lean towards demons, angels, God, etc.

Just remember that culture is contagious. What you believe in may play in your head and make you delusional.
Even mental.

Short story: Don't let your own beliefs turn into mind games that play on you. Especially if it is negative.
