Do you think there should be some penalty for marking too much? Especially if pretty much none of those marks are actually violations? I don't think the mods care about bad markers

You'd have to be very consistently bad at marking for them to even notice. I imagine if you mark so many posts incorrectly that they recognize your name as a shitty marker, they'd probably take action against you.

There is a measure called Message Marking Accuracy. It was shown to users for a while, but it became a mess, with people making a big deal of it and bitching, so it was "removed". My guess is that it was just removed from people's view, and remains hidden, like it was before, but it's still there.

i agree that there should be a system like that in place, what if a dude has like a 99 perc. bad marking pct? I think over half of my marks usually result in something. Some people might just mark anything and everything

How exactly would they be modded? What are the mods gonna do, delete their marks?

I have modded people for abusing the notes section before...

Pro tip; Don't use offensive language to describe the person you're marking in the notes field...

As for marking too much, it can happen, but it takes a lot of marks to even reach the threshold of where we notice. And then it only is a problem if they're non-violations. If you mark 1000 posts and every one of them is a violation, you're not getting in trouble for it.
