The early seasons yeah. The mid 00's were okay and later stuff has been pretty shit with a handful of hits here and there.

I rarely catch the show, but when I do, it's usually on Adult Swim. I've never watched original airings. That said, it's usually pretty funny when I do see it. Sometimes it's terrible, but it's been more funny than not, for the episodes that I have seen over the years. I just saw two episodes on [as] and they were funny. One where Brian was trying to hook up with one Meg's friend and Peter and Carter wen to Africa was funny. And the other where they went into Stewie's dreams alright. I had few objections to either one.

I never liked it. Hated it, in fact.

It has grown on me - but I have never laughed out loud at one of their jokes. I am more interested in the creativity of the jokes - not the jokes themselves if that makes sense. The stories are somewhat interesting when you're half asleep on the couch in the middle of the night.

Depends. It's the junk food of my television watching. When I want something mindless and simple, I flip it on and zone out. If I miss it or something, though, it's perfectly fine.

Yes, though now that they're tired out and most of their jokes are misses---not as much. But I definitely used to laugh nonstop when I watched the first four or so seasons. Went back and watched them on Netflix last year and its still hilarious so it's more they just ran out of funny than their style of humor not being something I enjoyed.

It has some pretty funny bits! But also a ton of shit. It's also pretty obnoxious. Seth McFarlane is obnoxious and annoying, and I feel like that shines through in his shows despite occasional funny moments.
