Do you have any fond road trip memories? If so, share them! I'd like to hear them!

I like going through Interstate 70 in Colorado. It takes you through the Rocky Mountains and it's quite a breathtaking route. Words can't describe the beauty of the view.

My senior year I drove from Rhode Island to Florida during Spring Break to pick up an axle for my car, cause it was cheaper for me to drive down then to have him ship it to me.

I live in Philadelphia. In my early twenties, my friend would rave about the cooking his Aunt did at a diner in Pittsburgh.

One night, my friends and I did a ten hour, cross-state and back tour. We got there, ate at the diner, and then drove back home.

Unfortunately, his Aunts cooking skills were overblown...

Drove to Boston a long time ago

Arrived around 1 AM. Looked for hotels but no vacancies everywhere. Back then there were no GPS, so after a while we gave up.

Ended up sleeping in the car.

Went on a ride, both bus and by car, through the Andes Mountains when I was traveling from Quito to Guayaquil. Scenery was beautiful because I embedded it into my memory with some songs that I love. Driving through the mountains and above the clouds was great.

We used to do a road trip every summer as a family and anytime I hear dire straits on the radio it gives me the warm and fuzzies.

Also had a blast driving to San Francisco down the California coast. 13.5 hours to eureka and 5 hours to San francisco

Drove from DC to Portland on my own. Took me 5 days. Also went through Colorado on the I-70 and it was great.

Drove with my dad a few years ago from NY to Miami, no stops other than for gas, bathroom breaks and snacks.

We'd been driving almost 20 hours and we finally made it to florida. We pulled into a dunkin donuts drive thru to get some coffee. We order our stuff, and pull up next to the window. We had our dog with us as well, he's a little pup who weighs 9 pounds, and the guy opens the window and out of nowhere our dog jumps up and starts making the most vicious, enraged dog sounds you'll ever hear at the guy.

I guess the guy didn't initially see our dog cause he was on my dads lap and is so small, so he heard the noise and screamed, through a bag of donuts into our car and locked the window in and ran

We lol'd the rest of the drive.
