Shocker actually has one of the better enemy designs. He's kind of like a cross between Scorpion and a yellow Spider-Man.

Max Landis - the writer of Chronicle and involved with some other movies - wrote a novel-length, 38 chapter fanfiction starring Shocker. It's actually not bad, though Shocker is undoubtedly a Mary Sue by the end of it.
