Your college almost assuredly has a BA program and gen ed courses don't strictly only stick you with people from your same major, which is kinda the point of the gen ed program. And English classes are more likely to skew heavily liberal in general.

My technology college most certainly does not offer a BA program. Even then, you're stretching Liberal Arts and Women's Studies into "any BA program" son. I never even said they didn't offer a BA program, yet somehow if we have any kind of BA program I must be full of it. You're wrong on this twice.

Either you're not a major university or you're oblivious, tbh.

Yeah, and you don't know how to read. SQL Database Management != Liberal Arts. Not a single "Black Lives Matter" anything here. In fact we were talking about BLM in English class and the general consensus was the media likes to exaggerate. Half of us are black.

It's a pretty nice college too. Very well kept, very nice campus. Wonderful community.

Conservatives are closed minded and prefer to live in the past and hate new ideas.

What, so Conservatives can't be open to new ideas? You seem close-minded yourself.

Your views on Conservatism and Liberalism remind me of how I saw both ideologies when I was maybe 13 or 14. you should probably consider refining such a simplistic view one day.

I'm just tired of people having this dumb view. I'm not going to pull any punches when addressing how juvenile and asinine this line of thinking is.

@Zeus:
Definition of Conservative: holding to traditional attitudes and values and cautious about change or innovation, typically in relation to politics or religion.
(Not my wording, that's what comes up when I google.)

Yeah, cautious. Not averse to change or new ideas, but cautious regarding change and new ideas. There's a difference.

If it wasn't for liberals, the US would still be a British colony, you'd still be riding horses instead of cars or possibly still living in caves and using stone tools.

Holy shit Ty, I know you are the supreme example of a blind liberal, but this is a bit much even for you.

I wonder how differently things would've been if British North America had been one big thing (though Mexico and probably France and Russia would've still had a portion)... Things certainly couldn't have been worse than they are now, just different. The pound is still the best currency, slavery would've died off much earlier, and despite still having some racial tension, it is far less severe in the UK. Then there's the health care and crime rate...
