I wouldn't be upset since she's become a pretty toxic name, but it's all superficial to me and not based on policy or strategy. Any opinions from you?

To be clear, I am not anti-baby.

No speaker of the house has lost their majority and then returned to that position since the fifties. From what I understand, Pelosi is pretty decent at whipping together votes, which is the main job, but given the losses over the past 7 years, I don't think change should be an outrageous suggestion.

I get why people are strongly opposed to her. I get why people would be indifferent. The passionate support for her and angry pushback towards the idea of getting rid of her is puzzling to me.

Questionably useful metaphor: if a football team has three losing seasons in a row, the coach is probably gonna be fired. It may not be the coach's fault, (and for the most part, it probably isn't) but that's how things go.
