And 3DS is a perfect fit since the games were originally on the Advance.

It's not a matter of getting either or, it's a matter of how long it takes for us to get a BN7 announcement. I have no interest in watching them "gauge" whether or not the market is fit for a Battle Network. Just give it to us damnit. Then you can do Battle Collection or whatever. I don't really care.

Which would you want a BN7 on? The 3DS was pretty much built for a Battle Network game from the ground up, but the Switch is newer in tech and you can... Jack into the Dock.

I'll miss the Street Pass, but the Switch gets my vote.

its weird that BN6 actually had a prologue of sorts (even if it was in text form) where Lan/Mayl has a kid named Patch and that Dex becomes mayor. pretty sure i heard secondhand information from someone on gamefaqs who had one of those art compilation books that stated that Dex became a corrupt mayor, possibly leaving the door open for a BN7. but nope, instead, it jumped a 200-year timeskip.

Its also a bit sad that the whole SF thing in the west was a bit limited. first they cut down the episodes and air them only online, but then they eventually pulled back features. apparantly the 2nd game (?) had codes that they were only selling within guides. suffering from problems that faced BN5/6. then you see the 3DS and they could have exploited stuff like QR codes/NFC figures or something.


They essentially shifted genres on-TV and tried to merchandise the game, right? though it's not like i can blame SF/SSREXE. Capcom must've had a rough patch with anything Mega Man in general. outright denying the release of Star Force 3 in Europe whilst letting the US struggle for months before they pulled the plug on it. in the process you had the cancellation of Megaman Legends 3, SSRxEXE (potential western localization) and Mega Man Universe. Xover only lasted 2 years in japan.


Think they only just celebrated MMBN's 15th anniversary at a theme park in Japan a few years ago, for some reason. guess EXE just goes in waves?
