It just feels blehhhh. I bought a new phone (LG V20) and it came with a screen protector preinstalled. I was resolved to keeping it on so my new bb doesn't get scratched but after taking it off it's like night and day. My fingers glide across the screen like little ballerinas instead of sticking like fat fuck American rap video girls.

No more screen protectors. Maybe tempered glass ones but even those don't have the same oleophobic treatment the phone glass has.

i hate screen protectors. they are often hard to use (like sliding around on), they often get really slimy and dirty pretty quickly, and eventually you get bubbles underneath, if you didnt get one putting the damn thing on.

it's crazy to me how people buy a $700~ phone and then throw on a nasty plastic film they bought for $3 to use the thing. especially since most modern phones use the latest gorilla glass, which is extremely scratch resistant against normal wear and tear.

I feel the same way about cases, but phones these days are so fucking slippery and have so much glass now that you kind of need a case or you're guaranteed to wreck it in a few days

You could drag a phone screen across concrete and not scratch it, screen protectors are pointless. They're a holdover from the days of shitty resistive screens that scratched easily.

Not entirely true. Concrete will often have silica and quartz particulates which are higher or the same on the mohs scale than the gorilla glass that the phone screens are made out of

Yeah, I just took my protector off when it started bubbling. Feels so much better and I'm careful enough to where I won't scratch it. Only issue is fingerprints get on it more easily, but I can wipe it off.

I've got a couple micro scratches on my Pixel XL because I've never used a screen protector. But they're only visible when the light hits at certain angles and the bare screen feels so damn nice, it's worth it.

I've never has sex with my wife with a condom. Never plan to either. Raw dog I superior in terms every way. The only thing that can suck is if you go too long, friction burn is possible even with lube (especially if she shaved a couple days ago).
