there's an option u can enable that'll scale enemies to u at least if they're below u in lvl i dunno for if they're higher normally

i never alow this to happen i check my lv at all times and move on with the story when i get close

where you grinding or just completing quests along the way ?

Well, the game is designed in the way t hat there's too much sidequests compared to the main story.
So you either skip the sidequests or play the story overleveled.

Don't worry about it.
