Really? o__o Maybe because I only fight them 1v1 but Ive never really had much problem with them. They have quite a few moves that are exploitable for backstabs

I mean, they're not too hard, but they hit hit like a truck and seem more capable than knight-like enemies

but I guess that they're also predictable.

on second thought, those bestial ice knights are more dangerous, because of how wild they are, and the freezing status ailment they inflict.

Got to Irithyll and Idk. Its making me tired lol. Invasions are annoying. People always manage to not get staggered by my hits even though the sound registers or they stagger a second later. Then they just roll the fuck away and drink.

And that bridge rat guardian thing took me like...10 tries to beat.

So I'm farming the Darkwraiths in Farron's Keep Perimeter and...one of them attacks me. But the other one just mauls the fuck out of the nearby crows and ghru.

Ive been maining Refined Lothric Swag Sword and Hollowslayer for most of the game. Been also trying to use Irithyll SS because it looks damn sexy even if it doesnt scale as well as the Lothric SS. Also been trying to use the Spiked Mace because it looks hilariously awesome.

The Dark Sword has been nerfed since the game was released. The best straight sword is probably the Lothric Knight Sword or the standard Longsword. The Broadsword has the highest AR, but it's short and doesn't have any thrust attacks.

It has a fairly noticeable phantom range. I was under the impression that after the nerfs to the Dark Sword however many patches ago, the Lothric Knight Sword was the top tier straight sword.

Honestly just based on moveset, I'd be more inclined to say the LKS has been the best, period. >.>

Oh, I guess they nerfed it since I've played. For one, it scales with STR, and it was overall just a powerful sword with good reach.

So beat Ponty and went to area ahead. Beat a fog wall and went down and theres two of those fucking huge dograt things. Is there anything worth it down there? Cuz I noped the fuck out of there REAL quick.

Ring of Favor if you kill 'em both. You can lure the first into a 1v1 if you stay in that area by the ladder.

if so, if you go to the body of that fat priest, you can join a covenant.

there's also a bonfire down there, and those things don't re-spawn.

If you have any pyro spells, they work pretty good on those things

And yes if you're careful you can lure the one on the left first.

Leonhard's getup is pretty fashionable, though the cape can get screwed up from certain animations. Was the first look I settled on with the Thief Mask instead of the hat (cuz weight).

Also Im kinda screwed because I didnt visit Yoel a lot before going to Catacombs so Idk how I can unscrotify myself

There's a Fire Keeper's Soul at the top of the tower you can buy a key from the Handmaid for and give to the Fire Keeper, which will purge the Dark Sigils at the cost of level-up cost*however many Sigils you have.

Just once. Hollowing is caused by the Dark Sigils, and that removes them from your inventory.

Removing the dark sigil is permanent. It locks you out of all the Londor and hollowing stuff until the next NG cycle

Abyss Watchers Hat/Mask thing, & Torso/cape

along with

Havel's gaunlets and leggings

looks sick as fuck, and balances out nicely.

I mightve switched the hat out for something cooler but its been so long that I forget

Ive always loved Havel's chained gauntlets but I'm a bit away from it I think. Also Idk if Ill be able to stay under 70% with Havels gauntlets and leggings even with havels ring and the other ring that increases load hp and stam

Password summoning negates our level difference indeed, but it overlevelled, the guest will be nerfed down to host tier.

What counts as overlevelled? I'm currently...60 I think. Somewhere around there.

Otherwise there is no "overlevelled" in general, I have a PvP character at 150 and a PvE one at 792 :]
You should be good at 60, ideally aroud 100 for the DLC if you don't want to feel like you're being stomped :)

Hm. Well I'm at Irithyll Dungeons after Aldrich and I hear its around the midpoint of the game. Been having fun so far though so definitely tempted to get the dlc

So I'm an absolute nublet at pvp. Did some aldrich invasions. Realized one host was at the bottom with the two ratdogs. Waited at the top of the ladder. Killed the phantom. Then played whack a mole with the host on the ladder. Got greedy and flew the fuck right off to my death. I havent laughed so hard in a long while.
