Yes, the Quadro is a workstation graphics card, you'll be fine.

Thanks bro. Yeah I suggested just sticking a GPU into one of our i7 desktop machines for the guy to use but the higher ups wants to give him a laptop. I guess they're cool with dropping 1,800 dollars on him.

Yes
the 520 is the lowest quadro they put in laptops i believe, but it will still be more than enough for Autocad, Unless hes doing some detailed 3d renderings or large scale projects than it will suffice. --- Ask me if I would eat da booty. ... Copied to Clipboard!
