Is red rescue team for the GBA graphically and gamewise the same as blue rescue team for the D'S? I plan to get it to play at the beach.

IIRC more or less. There are some quality of life things for the DS version though but it's not major.

Basically Blue > Red but only minorly.

if you plan to stick with it you might want to plan out your team early. those post-game dungeons are brutal.

Nit really. Just grind levels and IQ and your team will be overpowered.

Remember, I haven't played in a long time so I could be wrong. But the big ones that came to mind were the ability to display stats or the dungeon map on the second screen kinda like the other DS PMD games.

I can't really recall any others atm. Sorry. :(
